Portugal Gains Four New Michelin-Starred Restaurants
A Ver Tavira Among the Restaurants Recognised by the Michelin Guide in Portugal
The Brazilian magazine Viagem e Turismo, part of Grupo Abril, highlighted the evolution of Portuguese gastronomy and the growing number of restaurants recognised by the Michelin Guide in Portugal.
At the time of the publication, Portugal had 39 Michelin-starred restaurants across several regions of the country, reinforcing the increasing international recognition of Portuguese cuisine.
In the Algarve, A Ver Tavira, located in Tavira, was featured among the restaurants awarded one Michelin Star, with a special mention of Chef Luís Brito, alongside other highly regarded names in the region.
