Barlavento highlighted the fifth anniversary celebration of A Ver Tavira, marked by an exclusive dinner that brought together five renowned chefs and a total of five Michelin Stars in a single evening. The event, held on 27 June 2026, brought Chef Luís Brito together with chefs Alexandre Silva, Rui Sequeira, Shirley Alves and Dieter Koschina.
The celebration was intended not only to mark the journey of the restaurant, which has held one Michelin Star since 2022, but also to celebrate the evolution of Algarve gastronomy and the growing recognition of the Algarve as a gastronomic destination.
The evening began with a welcome reception on the rooftop and continued with a special menu created collectively by the invited chefs, paired exclusively with André Jacquart Champagne. The experience brought together technique, creativity, memory and ingredients connected to Portuguese gastronomic heritage.
